Amie has been a practicing clinician since May 2005. She graduated from Wytheville Community College with an associate's degree in physical therapy. Years later, she returned to Old Dominion University for a bachelor's in science with a minor in Health Services Administration. She then returned once more to the University of Findlay and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has a desire to make big differences in the lives of those with back pain and sciatica. She enjoys the challenge of treating the spine and understands that not all clients will present in the same manner. She is also a pelvic health guru and is aware of the influence the pelvic floor when treating the lumbar spine. Amie is Part A and B McKenzie certified with plans to continue her educational journey with emphasis on the spine and pelvic floor. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, outdoor adventures, travel, good food and beer, exercise, and most recently photography.

AJ is a Physical Therapist, native to Southwest Virginia, specializing in spine-related ailments, but enjoys working with and learning about the entire body. Graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, he is committed to treating in his home region, being a medically underserved community. AJ is McKenzie Part A and B certified, with plans to continue his educational journey to stay up with current research and treatment methods. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, reading, and researching genealogy, and is most recently learning a new language.

The Spine Fit Academy can be highly beneficial in addressing spine mobility limitations, muscle tightness, poor posture, muscle spasms, radicular symptoms, and overall decreased tolerance for daily activities.

What is the cost?

The cost of our program will vary depending on the package chosen. Our most comprehensive package is $4000 for a 12-week period of time. The choose your own package will vary in cost depending upon options chosen and Option 2 is priced at $2000 for a 6-week period.

What qualifies us to treat the spine?

We are qualified to treat all spine conditions based on our extensive expertise and experience in the field of lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine disorders. Our team includes licensed Physical Therapist professionals working as consultants who have dedicated their careers to researching and managing spine-related conditions. We stay current with the latest advancements in medical science and treatment modalities for the spine, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care. Remember that back and neck pain can vary greatly from person to person, and what works for one individual may not work for another. Tailoring your program to your unique needs, while closely monitoring and adjusting as necessary, is essential for effective management of your particular presentation

What are the benefits of exercise for someone with low back pain?

The benefits of exercise for low back pain are multi-factorial. Exercise can help manage pain, improve cardiovascular health, secrete hormones that help regulate pain and overall mental health, and improve tolerance for daily tasks.

How will individuals be grouped?

Groups will be formed based on individual presentation. Similar presentations will be grouped together
